This gaming cabinet lets two players select games from a wide array of consoles and play them using the original controllers. [Patrice] built it around his Multi Video Games System 2, which converts each of the 75 controllers to a common format. Players pick controllers from the display case, plug in an HD-15 connector, and choose the game they want to play. The cabinet contains a PC that runs a variety of emulators, and uses HyperSpin as a menu system.

Using adapters, the converted controllers can also be used on other game systems, tablets, or smartphones. [Patrice] claims that they’ll work across 110 different game systems. A full list of the controllers and systems is shown here.

We are submerged in a dry swimming pool. A SEGA Mega Drive, Commodore 64, floppy disk drives and hard drives sing in unison. The unusual ensemble (controlled live via MIDI) are given a last curtain call in a nostalgic farewell to forgotten friends.

This system allows for Nintendo gameplay audio to be played through an acoustic player piano and robotically controlled percussive instruments. The piano and percussion play live during actual gameplay, mirroring the sounds that would normally be created electronically. All audio, including music and sound effects, is translated in realtime so that it is produced by the instrument most closely resembling the characteristics of the original electronic sound.

Αναπαρασταση της μαχης στο Helm’s Deep με Lego

οι φωτο τραβηχτηκαν , οταν το project ηταν στο 90% κι ενω χρειαστηκαν γιατο ηδη 4 μηνες δουλειας και 150.000 lego brick set !!!!!!!

Καλά όχι και 16bit. Το Snes μπορεί να αποδώσει καλύτερα οπτικά. Κάτι σαν NES είναι με καλύτερη παλέτα χρωμάτων

Με αφορμή τη μουσική αλά ρετρό...θέλω να ποστάρω κάτι ανάλογο. Υπάρχουν αρκετά άτομα στο ίντερνετ που φτιάχνουν μουσική με floppy drives πχ :
