-I've already started work on C64 Gunfright and I think its going to be a great conversion!
I'll keep you all posted on Gunfright and will release a WIP version as soon as I can.
-Also on the way is V1.20 of Pentagram which features some much improved sounds by Soulc and frame syncing so you can play it at 50hz with No slowdown on a 3mhz or greater Turbo Chameleon.
-For Plus4 fans I also have a version of Pentagram V1.20 almost ready to go for that machine. It's very similar to the C64 version.

-Ετοιμάζεται νέα έκδοση η V1.20 του Pentagram με προσθήκες /βελτιώσεις στον ήχο από τον Saul Cross , frame syncing στα 50Ηz ώστε να μην υπάρχουν slowdowns σε Cpu(6502) χρονισμένους 3mhz ή και ταχύτερους .
- Είναι σχεδόν έτοιμη V1.20 έκδοση του Pentagram και για τους Commodore Plus4 !!!!!
As I've passed a couple of milestones with the C64 conversion of Gunfright I thought set-up a WIP thread for the game.
Based on Mariuszw's excellent Z80 to 6502, Atari 800 WIP.
- The game is running on the 64, game menus work, the game runs and game over screen is displayed.
- Second, the game window, sprites and scrolling have been converted to C64 screen format and the man can walk around the screen and scrolling area. All the other sprites are also displayed correctly. Screen shot above ....
The crud around the outside are the static graphics that need to be converted from Spectrum screen format to C64 format. Unfortunately, unlike Pentagram the static graphics are blitted directly into the screen ram so the static drawing routine will have to be re-written to handle the C64 screen format as well. That's next on the to-do list....
Ευχάριστες προσθήκες για κάθε Amstradοβιβλιοθήκη και τα δύο! Το ιδιαίτερα καλαίσθητο custom mode 1, με τα 5 χρώματα, του πρώτου επεισοδίου, δίνει τη θέση του στο split screen mode 0/mode 1, για τη δράση και το HUD αντίστοιχα, στο δεύτερο επεισόδιο.
Ιδιαίτερη προσοχή έχει δοθεί στις λεπτομέρειες, όπως το in game tune, το dithering, οι εισαγωγικές οθόνες, η υποστήριξη secondary fire button και το game packaging. Ευχαριστούμε 4MHz.
ΥΓ: Η ομοιότητα του ήρωα των δύο παιχνιδιών, με τον Pablo Iglesias, δεν είναι τυχαία!
GeoAnas, εντυπωσιακό πράγματι... Νομίζω μάλιστα ότι μετά το Spitting Images, δεν είχε εμφανιστεί άλλο παιχνίδι, στα 8bit τουλάχιστον, όπου να χειρίζεσαι κάποιον πολιτικό αρχηγό ή ηγέτη... Σε Flash πλατφόρμα μόνο, συνάντησα κάποια, με κάποιους δικούς μας πολιτικούς, όπου τους γιαουρτώνεις κλπ.

33 different tiles and 18 of them is "interactive"
3 color scheme (red green blue)
3 music tracks: one for menu and 2 in-game (they are changed every level), the music was composed to sound best on SID 8580 but I can assure that it sounds great on both types of SIDs. You can switch to sfx, but unfortunatelly the music and sfx won't be available at the same time, because the music doesn't sounds good together with sfx.
The game will be available on cartridge and disc.
I will post video with one of the in-game music soon.
Yoomp!64 ,το Υoomp! ενα παιχνίδι που κυκλοφόρησε στα Α8 το 2007 ,και τόσο αξιόλογο ώστε να χρησιμοποιήται ως πάτημα για να την πουν στους άλλους 8bitους τύπου ,"Ναι αλλά εσείς (δεν)έχετε Υoomp! ?" ,'ερχεται στους C64.

Εξαιρετικό το Yoomp! -που δεν γνώριζα, thanks Nemo- στα Atari, φαίνεται επίσης πολύ καλό σε Commodore! Να, κάτι τέτοια, μαζί με τα microHexagon, Super Bread Box, Canabalt κλπ. φέρνουν το 8bit gaming, στην σύγχρονη εποχή!
Θα ήθελα να το δω και στο mode 0 του Amstrad, με τα 5απλά του μπλε, πράσινα και κοκκινομώβ, για ομορφότερες σκιάσεις, αλλά και σε ZX, με κάποιο τρικ για μπόλικο χρώμα, όπως μας έδειξε το Lirus, με τα τραχιά του patches χρώματος, στους δύο spectrumοφωτισμούς και τα απίθανα αποτελέσματα...
Hi All,
I have been working on a basic game for the last few months. Let me introduce "Coolbox", a puzzle game in the vain of Block Dude the old calculator game.
This game is completely written in Basic, no machine code or loaded files. It has multicoloured sprites, scrolling and in game music (thanks to Mr Lou for the tunes).
I was going to enter it into the CPCRetroDev2016 comp but I have failed to get it to work in Basic 1.0. Initially the sprites caused me some problems. I fixed that only to have the scrolling give me issues so I've given up and decided to release it as Basic 1.1 only. However if someone wants to have a go at making it 464 compatible, please be my guest.

Τελικά αν η ιδέα είναι καλή, τύφλα να έχουν και τα γραφικά και ο ήχος, που όμως στο συγκεκριμένο game,τηρουμένων των αναλογιών, είναι εξαιρετικά.

Life in Dos Santos was though and difficult for its citizens. Bandits and gunmans ruled the town causing havoc and continuous fights.
