Is it true that in Greece playing on arcade video machines is banned? You can't play on Punisher, Galaxian or other games?
I don't say about slot machines where we can win money, I say about normal arcade machines.

The law, which goes by the name of Law Number 3037

Operation and installation of any game of type (b), (c) and (d) of Article 1, including computer games, placed in public places such as hotels, cafeterias, organization halls and in any other public or private place, is prohibited.

The referenced types are

b. Electrical games are those, that depend on electrical mechanisms.
c. Electromechanical games are those that depend on electrical mechanisms and the use of one's muscle force.
d. Electronic games are those, that depend on both electrical-electronic mechanisms and software.

This was enacted in order to combat illegal gambling, and was extended to all gaming because the Greek government admitted it could not distinguish between "regular" games and gambling machines....

Law 3037 has come into effect on the 30/7/2002.
5 years later the result was that they didnt ban every kind of videogame.
They only banned machines that can have hidden gambling programs in public stores that dont have a license to have that kind of machines.
They didnt ban internet-cafes or playing videogames at home or at shops which have the proper license.

Ρε σεις ο τυπος εχει τρελα γελια με τη διεθνη καριερα σε forums που κανει.

Δεν ήταν και τόσο δύσκολο, το στυλ γραφής του συγκεκριμένου τύπου είναι τόσο χαρακτηριστικό που με το που είδα το post που έγινε link άρχισαν τα καμπανάκια. Μετά το μόνο που έμενε ήταν να δω και άλλα post του στο MARP forum.

Right hand for the joystick, left hand for buttons. 99% of arcades i have played (and I was a fan of them until my 30) has this placement.

I think this is normal because we are mainly right handed so we control better the stick with this hand. The accuracy is better.
