WIP του Great Escape το οποιο κανει port o Mariuszw στον Atari 8bit χρησιμοποιωντας την C64 εκδοση μια και ATARI και C64 μοιραζονται την ιδια -6502- CPU και το γεγονος λογω οτι ειναι ισομετρικο και port απο Spectrum /χρησιμοποιει soft sprites ,διευκολυνει την μεταφορα -port μια και η CPU κανει ολο "το σαματα" και μαλιστα μια και η CPU -6502- στο Atari τρεχει σχεδον στην διπλασια(~180%) συχνοτητα αποτι του C64 τα πραγματα βαινουν καλως
,εκτος απο 2-3-4 προσωρινα θεματακια ....
1. I need sound effects for the game. It looks that there are not many, but roll call is definitely required. Since I am not musician or sfx composer, I need somebody with proper skills to get the job done.
2. Music for the game. The problem is that there is only 4KB of RAM free and there is not much time in frame left for player (actually there is no time, as game is pretty slow, but still faster than on C64) but music may improve the gameplay.
3. Loading picture. C64 picture would be probably easy to convert, but it doesn't look good in my opinion. ZX-Spectrum title screen is much better, but my preferred one is here: http://speccy-live.untergrund.net/2013/ ... stevenson/ Not sure if it is possible on Atari.
4. Hints on possible optimizations and bugfixes are also welcome!

World", with which i enjoyed so much 24 years ago. (24 years ! but if this was a modern game !!)
In the main game you have to get find the exit of an alien
world. You will have to find (or make) objects that helps you move forward in
your search.
Mini-game Persecution: When the time comes, run to the left
(O) to escape the bug, jumping to avoid falling into the pits (Q).
Mini-game Snake: Classic snake game, in this case you must
reach the length pointing to open the exit. Passing control over the modules
are counted, if they reach the minimum the door will open. There are springs
that opens some doors if you through them.
Mini-game "Air attack": you just shoot and get the
points that mark the screen to move to the next phase.
There are other mini games and strange things, but they do
not need much explanation.
Inventory (I) you must select two holes. The marked objects
are exchanged, the space underneath is where the object you are going to use.

Between now and February, the game just requires final testing and
squeezing in some more small features where possible, most recent of which was the in-game commentary.
The game was designed originally with single player (and two player) mode in mind - 4 players was a relatively late addition.
There are 3 CPU difficulty levels - Easy, Medium & Brutal. Beating the CPU either as single player, or 2 humans on the same team will unlock a bonus feature... so there is incentive to try and work through the levels. 3 levels might not sound a lot but I guarantee a challenge, especially on Medium & Brutal.
There are also 2 different control modes when a single joystick controls a team - either you control one player and the CPU controls the other, or you control both players (whoever has the ball). The lends itself to different strategies and styles of play.
If you ever find a friend or 3, you can setup a game however you want:
2 humans on the same side vs 2 cpu players
1 human & cpu vs 1 human & cpu
2 humans on the same side vs 1 human & cpu
etc
If you play using the Vice emulator on PC (not sure about other platforms), you can have up to 4 players - instructions how to set this up are on the FAQ section of http://www.throwbackgames.net. Alternatively use the Protovision 4 player adapter
